I don’t make it out to Vegas enough.  I did make it in early 2024 to see U2 at The Sphere, which was an amazing experience.  I would highly recommend checking out The Sphere to see anything going on there.

As for restaurants, there are so many.  In general, I feel like they are all good but not great.  Here’s my short list:

Delilah: a really fun spot at The Wynn with really awesome food; I’d go late-night (after a show at the Sphere) when it feels like a night club; the chicken tenders and pigs-in-a-blanket are amazing ($$$$)

Mizumi: simply an amazing immersive Japanese experience ($$$$)

Din Tai Fung: bustling Asian banquet-style emporium at Aria with top-notch dumplings; just about everything else is great too ($$$)

Julian Serrano Tapas: great spot for apps and drinks before a big night out ($$$)

And I’m always looking for a place for a quick, casual breakfast or lunch (that delivers real comfort after a late night).  The simple answer is that The Cosmopolitan has a bunch of great places.  You really can’t miss, but here’s what I like:

Hattie B’s Hot Chicken: the hot chicken sando and tenders are insane ($)

Secret Pizza:  really solid slices if you can find the joint (hallway next to Blue Ribbon) ($)

EggSlut:  one of the great breakfast sandwiches anywhere (even if it was served in a dirty ashtray) ($)

Lardo: amazing sandwiches ($)

Tekka: quick, delicious hand rolls ($$)

Bang Bar:  Great eats from David Chang ($)

Milk Bar: soft serve and/or crack pie after your quick bite lunch ($)

Jaleo: Jose Andres’ Vegas outpost of his killer DC tapas joint; best empanadas I’ve ever had ($$$)

China Poblano: loved the 27 vegetable fried rice and THE BEST MARGARITA I’VE EVER HAD ($$)

Blue Ribbon: great bar for a pre-going-out drink and oysters ($$)
