Beer
The “old me” would not excited about a trip to Vermont in anticipation of all the craft beers I’m going to taste. I didn’t like craft beer. The only one I used to like is the original: Anchor Steam Beer. But that has changed a bit.
Beer, to me, is all about the pure refreshment. Ice cold. Preferably in a can. And definitely from America. On a hot summer day, when it’s time for a beer, this is what I go for:
- Grain Belt Premium
- Heileman’s Old Style
- Kokanee Glacier Fresh Beer
- Narragansett Lager
- Miller High Life (The Champagne of Beers)
- Coors Banquet Beer
- Coors Light
- Pabst Blue Ribbon
- Hamm’s
- Anchor Steam Beer
But, as I noted above, my tastes have changed a bit. Now I like to have a delicious beer with dinner sometimes. And thus I’ve come to appreciate New England style IPAs. A little more alcohol. A lot more flavor. But I still like them ice cold and in a can:
- Anything from Other Half Brewery (Brooklyn)
- Two Juicy from Two Roads Brewery(CT)
- Ice Cream Man from Back East Brewery (CT)
- Sip of Sunshine from Lawson’s Finest (VT)
- Lil Juicy from Two Roads
- Double Sunshine from Lawson’s
- Hopzilla from Lawson’s
More to come…I’m just getting going…
